The Order of the Forester

The Order of the Forester is, like the Order of the Shepherd, not awarded in the hope that a brother will serve the people, but in recognition of the fact that he has already done so. The Order of the Forester is awarded- or more correctly the brother is not awarded with the order, but he his appointed to it- in recognition of service in the promotion, building, and service to the people in the areas of mutual assistance, mutual and self-defense, and economic cooperation, self-sufficiency and independence.

A Forester has no special privileges or responsibilities other than his already demonstrated leadership, and the administration of rites associated with the Foresters.

About thrasymachus33308

I like fast cars, fast women and southern-fried rock. I have an ongoing beef with George Orwell. I take my name from a character in Plato's "Republic" who was exasperated with the kind of turgid BS that passed for deep thought and political discourse in that time and place, just as I am today. The character, whose name means "fierce fighter" was based on a real person but nobody knows for sure what his actual political beliefs were. I take my pseudonym from a character in an Adam Sandler song who was a obnoxious jerk who pissed off everybody.
