Chinese Racist Violence

One of the stranger things about the “human biodiversity crowd” is its Asiaphilia. These people like to point out while blacks are lower than white people, Asians are higher. They do this partly out of a desire to insulate themselves from charges of racism, but partly because they have a superficial view of Asian culture. They see a certain order and discipline and regard this as civilization.

Civilization is far more, of course. European civilization functions on among other things a lubricant of goodwill, kindness and charity. The weak are protected and helped.

In this rather unpleasant video, a small European boy has apparently become lost in a Chinese city. I believe what happened was showing fear and confusion, and rather than drawing a few concerned, helpful people to try to help him find his parents, his fearful behavior triggered an aggressive reaction, just as it would with blacks or some Latinos.

We can look forward to being dominated by these people if we don’t get our act together.

About thrasymachus33308

I like fast cars, fast women and southern-fried rock. I have an ongoing beef with George Orwell. I take my name from a character in Plato's "Republic" who was exasperated with the kind of turgid BS that passed for deep thought and political discourse in that time and place, just as I am today. The character, whose name means "fierce fighter" was based on a real person but nobody knows for sure what his actual political beliefs were. I take my pseudonym from a character in an Adam Sandler song who was a obnoxious jerk who pissed off everybody.

    I’ve never understand this either.

    Should be ‘understood’…

I don’t see the big deal – necessarily. If he stole something, or whatever, then breaking his fingers would be much too harsh, but to me he seems not that likely to be seriously injured. Stepping on someone would never be my choice of punishment, considering the risk of unintended damage – but if he did do something significant then I see no serious problem with them dealing him a massive but harmless smack on the ass, of painfulness equal to what he appears to suffer here.

As for our respective levels of civilization over the millennia, personally I think Europe’s is clearly a bit higher than NE Asia’s, and Europe has more beautiful girls. YMMV. Maybe that’s partly just my European genes talking, which are adapted to favoring European art, manners, and girls – but I really don’t care too much whether that is so or not. At any rate NE Asia is definitely severely awesome. Zen is great but my personal favorite is the Chuang-tze. The future is of course wide open because various powers will compete to reach a higher civilizational level through artificial means – intervention is necessary just to stymie the regress of gene pools that is already happening, so I deduce from that such intervention will happen, and it’s very likely that someone will use it for progressive purposes rather than just conservative ones. The greatest art and science of the future could be done anywhere, though obviously the West and NE Asia, and to a much lesser extent India and SE Asia, have a big advantage at present that would take time to catch up with.

By ‘progressive purposes’ I mean progressing to a new, higher level of civilization – as opposed to merely conserving a population’s IQ, C, physical handsomeness, creativity, etc, ensuring that they do not decline.

  6. Oren says:

He’s actually not a lost European boy.

He’s a Uighur Muslim boy who got caught stealing. Uighurs are some kind of Mongoloid/Turkic hybrids.

  7. georgec says:

Context; Im guessing this kid is a Uighur vagrant (an ethnic group antagonistic to the Chinese) who probably tried to steal something, in a city where theft from street kids is probably a problem, and the people torturing him are dirt poor peasants who themselves live a hardscrabble life of poverty, degradation, and abuse, and whose own shitty lives shriveled their capacity for empathy to the size of a tiny raisin. Their behavior is pretty grotesque, but from a historical perspective fairly mild, however disturbing it might seem to our pampered Western selves (and I for one could not get through the video)

Every country has its barbarians. Even a brief glance at Chinese history should make clear that China has its healthy share. Nothing here is worse than what Germans have done in the past, to members of their own race, too. And Im not talking about WW2, but things they did to Belgians and French in WW1. Forget about Germans, all of Europe – It would be tedious and pointless to catalogue even the tiniest fraction of European atrocities. Everyone knows about them at this point, and I trust there is no dispute about it.

The entire human race is pretty fucked up, Asians being no exception. That being said, historically Asians were less violent towards strangers than Europeans or others. Please note I said LESS violent, not non-violent. Clearly the history of Asia provides many examples of xenophobic violence, often horrific, as well as horrific violence against their co-ethnics.

Part of the reason the HBD crowd gives Asians a pass is not just that they are so much better than NAMS, all things considered (and everything is relative), but because they see in Asian countries an attitude of ethnocentrism they envy greatly, and would dearly love to emulate.

Its really important to note that its not a lost European boy – that makes it sound so much worse than it is, as if its some poor tourist kid who got separated from his parents and fell into the hands of a vicious racist mob. Thats sensationalistic.

  9. Abelard Lindsey says:

Still, you don’t treat an 8 year old kid like that.

Back when we were at our height and much healthier than we are today, this kind of thing wasn’t unheard of.

In 1909 a mob stormed the Greek Town in Omaha, Nebraska, looted and burned down the area, beat Greek men, women, and children, and reportedly killed a Greek boy. The mob kicked out all the Greeks in the area.

This kind of thing would be unheard of today and this is taken to be a sign of “advancement” and being more “civilized” but I’m not sure it’s necessarily a good thing. It seems more a sign of “domestication” and being “tamed” resulting in us being more easily controlled and manipulated.

So what? They’re engaging in vigilante justice against a pickpocket. Although East Asians are genetically distinct from Europeans, the practice of vigilante justice certainly isn’t one of those traits that makes them different. It wasn’t that long ago when white Europeans and Americans partook in vigilante justice without apology.

East Asians are capable of maintaining a modern, high tech civilization with a relatively low level of crime. That’s what’s important. Some have argued that they’re less creative and more susceptible to extreme conformism, but there haven’t been any studies regarding the heritability of said traits among East Asians. “Big Five” personality traits — with include relevant traits such as “openness” and “agreeableness” — are partly heritable, but I’ve looked and have been unable to find any such studies that control for race.

Yes, dirt poor peasants, standing around filming a boy being tortured on their dirt poor cell phones. Hurr durr.

  14. Mithridates says:

The vic’s an Uighur kid sent by his parents to steal. Petty thievery is so rampant in China that perps who are caught will generally be beaten on the spot before being locked up. The real problem there is revolving door justice. Local governments don’t want the expense of locking people up, so petty thieves are generally released after a few days of jail time. Only major felons get any kind of prison time in China.
