Things That Seem Strange, But Aren’t- The Green-Pink Alliance

Conservatives have the awful habit of pointing out things about leftism that they say are “irrational”, “insane”, “ridiculous”, and “don’t make sense”. What they never understand is that these things do make perfect sense within the mentality of leftism.

Take the support of gays for Islamic causes. “Moslems hate gays!” conservatives scream. “They want to kill them! How can gays support Moslems?! It’s crazy! it doesn’t make sense!”

And yet they do, so maybe it does make sense. Truthfully, outside of a few well-publicized incidents in Iran and under the Taliban, homosexuality is both common and not regarded as a big deal in Islamic society. Most know the ancient Greeks were big enthusiasts of sodomy; what they don’t know is that in that society, women were restricted to the family home, so if a man wanted to have sex with someone other than his wife, a young boy was the alternative. The Greeks were big on an aggressive sort of masculinity; they were obsessed with sports, even more than we are today. A self-consciously masculine society without access to women is a blueprint for widespread sodomy.

This of course describes Islamic society as well. Google “anal gonorrhea”- the Taliban and other Pashtuns seem to like to both pitch and catch. Sodomy is common in Saudi Arabia, probably the other Gulf states, among the Turks I don’t know.

Gays, like Moslems, tend to hate women. Really, being a homosexual under Islam probably means no gay pride parades, but otherwise not much change in lifestyle.

About thrasymachus33308

I like fast cars, fast women and southern-fried rock. I have an ongoing beef with George Orwell. I take my name from a character in Plato's "Republic" who was exasperated with the kind of turgid BS that passed for deep thought and political discourse in that time and place, just as I am today. The character, whose name means "fierce fighter" was based on a real person but nobody knows for sure what his actual political beliefs were. I take my pseudonym from a character in an Adam Sandler song who was a obnoxious jerk who pissed off everybody.
