Via Elusive Wapiti we see a very typical and normal attack on whiteness, maleness, middle-classness blah blah blah you’ve heard it all before.
What struck me though was the source. Butler College. I think they may have had a good basketball team in the last couple years, but other than that there is no reason anyone would know or care about this place, and even with that no reason anyone would care about their pronouncements on whiteness etc. What kind of person goes to Butler College? What do they hope to accomplish in this matriculation?
Such over the top pronouncements don’t come from Harvard, Yale or Princeton. HYP doesn’t discourage this sort of thing, but it’s beneath them. Why? It’s more entrepreneurial leftism, of the type we saw with Adam Swartz. Leftism is inherently predatory. You can’t be a real leftist just by going along, or even singing in the choir. You have to be hunting down and rooting out deviation.
Leftists at the top can mostly play the good cop, but ambitious leftists must play the bad cop and collect scalps.
Butler College… I know that name from some other leftist idiocy but I can’t remember the details.
